Although you can make you're own mask, which might help to bring the red spots down a bit, no home remedy will ever truly heal it, despite what people tell you.
If home remedies worked, people would be world famous and selling them internationally.

it wont heal on its own (experience) , my mother used to say that it will but it did not i started getting treatment from a skin doctor in nov 2012 , i was also 18 (now i am 19) it has improved a lot only some scars left doctor will prescribe you a face wash(for oily skin), acne cream, medicine my doctor prescribed me KlmKlin Face Wash, papulex cream and tablet (not mentioning the tablet name sorry) i will suggest you to visit a skin doctor once before trying any product you can start using Klmklin face wash if you dont want to visit the doctor, you can buy it for Rs 160 from any medical shop

For cleansing of oily skin, I recommend taking baking soda, purified water, and a few drops of tea tree oil, dabbing it on the problem spots, and then washing it off once it's dried (about 20 minutes).
you could also try full fat organic milk, a few drops of almond oil, and rose water, to moisturize (this is similar to what cleopatra used to take baths in, I've heard.)... You could also try antibacterial liquid handsoap or bodywash.
