Does anyone else here finds the heightened security measures a hassle? Don't get me wrong, I understand it is required for safety, but all that's going on, it is quite troublesome to fly now.

I've been looking forward to my trip to UK in Oct, but looks like i have to drop it now .Too much uncertainty at the moment, and I don't think it will get any better, at least for the next 8 mths,maybe.....

to all those who still need to fly to/out from UK, hang in there.

It's a hassle but I don't plan to change any of my travel plans. The heightened security will increase our safety so it's a good thing.

What's the big deal if you have to wait on longer lines to get through security?

Pack according to the rules, get to the airport early and you'll have no trouble getting through. The trip will make it all worthwhile.

What about fly to Ireland or Scottland instead, and then take the train to UK?? That would take extra time, but you get to visit more places!!
