half of the profits will go to the families. But thr royalties and another percentage of the films earnings will go to the actors of the film.The studio and actors will make far more than any of the families will ever see.It's said that nicholas cage recieved 6.5mill to do the movie

I haven't heard that and I doubt it. Maybe some but not all. Hollywood doesn't make movies as charity events. Moreover, we as taxpayers have already paid to the victims' families.
