HOW DID YOU WRITE THIS?
turn it off then on pressing F8 then start in "safe" mode.. when in, use system restore............

Turn the computer off, remove the battery and then replace the battery. My computer went blank a few times because the battery got loose. For some reason, it throws everything off in the operating system.

What O/S? Have there been any changes (installed new SW or HW)? Most likely it is a software problem....if you can't get into safe mode, you might be able to format and reload your HD. If any errors occur during the FFR, your HD might be damaged.

What about trying reboot.Although if all you have is a blank screen.When you first switch on if it starts up try rebooting then.hope someone can help you.
