I love Bottom ! Absolutely hilarious. I also really like Scrubs.

The Office,,, The Young Ones,,, Not the 9'o'Clock news,, and the pinnacle of British comedy is of course Fawlty Towers.
I love everything the Python team did as well.

Fawlty Towers was terrific; John Cleese at his manic, genius best. And, I'm also a fan of Monty Python and Benny Hill, the best of the sketch comedies. Other British comedies that were inspiring included "Ab-Fab".
But living in the States, my all-time favorite is The Honeymooners; although it was released before my time, nothing has ever matched its simple hilarity.

Fawlty Towers is awesome, & there are so many comedies to choose from that this is a tough question. I think my answer would depend on my mood, but for this morning I'll have to go with Cheers.

Coupling (UK), the Office (UK) and Friends as contemparies. Classics are Fawlty Towers, Blackadder, Red Dwarf and Father Ted. Britcom is going through a dreary patch now I think, Little Britain is the cream of a withered crop, but it'll be back.

Loads; of the classics. Fawlty towers is excellent. As is The Simpsons. More recently the Office and Scrubs regularly have me laughing my ar$e off

I agree with you Fawlty Towers was one of funniest thing ever on TV. I am not British, but I love British comedy. Monty Pyhton!!
