'Comfort eating' is very common. People often do it to gain a short-term happiness-boost. This is not an effective way to happiness though. I'd recommend concentrating on only eating food when nesesary and pick up a hobby or sport to release natural happiness fluids. Scientists have actually proven that sport does release your body's happy liquids, therefore making you happy.. With out over eating!

To be totally honest. I don't each that much during the day but at night, super, I load up. I am fat as a cow. Culinary habits ate the cause of most waist problems. I also don't exercise.

U cud be sufferin from depression or loneliness which is a common case!...how about goin to ur nearest salvation army office or red cross and donating all that food for a better cause and then patting urself on the back for putting other peoples needs above urs!...People who r worse-off then u who cud use the food to feed their family!

i tend to eat when bored but i'm lucky i can eat loads and not put on weight. try not to have any junk food or snacks lying around and if your going to treat your self do it properly with fine wines, belgian chocolate truffles etc not a mars bar.

Yes you are right , why the hell we eat too much, It is this sense of taste.......our tongue has lot of taste.....this temptation of tasty food which is difficult to control makes us eat a lot and then feel sorry about it.........and cry for diet and so on.....well this is a problem faced by 80% population of world.....so just relax.........and eat.....hahaha

anxiety, boredom, family picnic and overwhelmed with it's all so good. many reason's, some diseases cause food craving especially sugar.... usually if you eat right it help the cravings. It the first week or so that is hard to get through. lol

it is because if people over indulge in food often their brains are tricked in to believing that they need this much fod and become addicted to it just like any narcotic substance.things like exercise help stimulate your body's "happy hormones" which make you feel better and help you fight over eating and reduce the risk of desease from over eating

try working out. it will give you energy and i always feel good after because i am doing something for me. when you are eating because you are bored or upset try writing in a journal or something like that to keep your mind off of food.
