This morning while I was lying in bed I felt my uterus tightening up for about 30seconds or so. It got really hard, but wasn't painful. This has happened a couple of other times 1-2wks ago. Could they be Braxton Hicks? Or is it too early for that? 1st pregnancy!!!!!

They can happen as early as 6 wks, but you don't really feel them then. But 2 wks before your due date, they can get pretty painful. Here is a site that explains everything. Good luck and congrats!

It's too early for them..YOU'LL KNOW when you have Braxton Hicks...TRUST ME!!! You're starting to feel your baby move...that wasnt' tightening..that was the little one making him/herself comfortable...GOod luck and don't worry...IF you start to bleed or have shooting pains..then I'd say go to the doctor... I've had 4 children...TRUST me you'll know!!!
