Sexual production involves gametes and male and female parts. Asexual production is where you can split something in half and the 2 halves create two new organisms. People and animals reproduce only through sexual reproduction. Plants also reproduce sexually, but in addition to sexual reproduction, some plants can reproduce asexually. The best example I can think of is where you take a leaf or stalk from a plant, and grow another plant from that leaf or stalk. I've grown a tomato plant from a stalk off of another tomato plant, and I've grown a new geranium from a geranium leaf.

Sexual reproduction in plants requires pollination of the pollen grains from the male plant to the female. Asexual does not need pollination.

Some plants have a stamen and pistil containing pollen and seeds. The wind or insects spread the pollen and fertilize the seeds. Some plants now are grown by grafting of shoots onto other plants to get an improved product. Also some plants spread through the root system, and new plants emerge with no sexual component.

sexual reproduction is when one of the plants is able to pollinate another plant. Asexual reproduction is when the plant reproduces by itself. Hope that helps!

Asexual production - only one plant required, does not involved pollination, offsprings produced are similiar to the parent and to each other, with no or little variation, the only source of variation is the environment and mutation

Sexual production - two plants required (male n female), involved pollination, either between flowers of the same plant or different plants, offsprings produced are different from the parent and each other, with more variation
