No, it's not a planet. It has the same orbit pattern as the rest of the debris in the Kuiper Belt. It's just a slightly larger piece of space junk, and certainly not a planet.

I'm sitting right now...
and pluto IS a planet. It's almost as big as mercury, after all. And it's oribiting the sun in an orbit relativeley free of asteroids. It's a planet.
