Does it have blue tooth? u can blue tooth send the messages to the other phone..
Does it have a memory card that both phones can use? Just save messages to the memory card and then transfer the memory card to the other phone.
Or...you could just bring the phone to the service centre and ask them to do it for u! I know nokia would!

it is easy using your phones data cable or infrared just connect your phone to your pc it will detect your phone just download, copy yr sms from yr phone contacts folder to yr pc then change yr phone with yr new one just upload to it.Or else try if yur infrared
or bluetooth can be used directly with yur new phone(By activating both phones IR or bluetooth)Then just transfer yur sms to the new phone.

the only way I am aware of , is that you have to forward the messages to another number.
