If your girlfriend is younger than you, she'll be happy until she out grows you.
If she's the same age as you, she'll outgrow you quicker.
If she's older than you, she may be immature or you're mature for now, or she's trying to get back at someone.
Any way it goes, your happiness doesn't depend on each other- it depends solely on your inner turmoils and how well you do keeping busy to ignore or supress them.
