Why do they rant and rave about being the best team ever when all they've won is 2 or 3 league titles? They will never be as successful as Liverpool or even Man u!

I don't think Chelsea are the best team ever, not to be fair have I noticed them rant that they are. Arsenal in the 1930s, Liverpool in the 1970s and, internationally, Real Madrid in the 1950s (but I would always support Barcelona, owned by the fans and symbol af Catalonia over Franco's fascism, against Real Madrid) have better claims.
You cannot deny that Chelsea are a big club with all their expensive signings and top manager.
Hopefully Liverpool and Arsenal (who cares about Man U?) have by now realised that the top four have to consistently beat all the teams outside the top four or five (of course, they will find Charlton difficult), and then they have a chance of beating Chelsea. Too many top sides of players used to warmer conditions fall over when they meet the likes of Middlesborough, Wigan or Blackburn on a cold wet winter evening. The Charity Shield shows that Chelsea are also liable to fall over when they are not up for a big match, but in the last couple of years they have been the most consistent in the league.. If Arsenal and Liverpool get their strategy right Chelsea will have their work cut out next season.

on the roof, xargentinax, old school and caramel s have said it right Chelsea are they best and history for us is just beginning. We don't show off or rant on about being the best, our quality just shines and people are getting jealous. Don't forget not everyday is Christmas so we didn't win yesterday. But whats to stop us from winning the Premiership? Liverpool, Arsenal, Man u? Bring it on we here for the battle! I believe we will get better in Europe.
Besides why didn't you say which team you support? Are you ashamed of the team? Sorry if I over stepped the mark there lol

They think they are the best team, cause they`ve won 2 prem league. Not this year tho! they`re trying to buy every available player out there to stop them going anywhere else. They`ve got no history like Man United and Liverpool. They won the league last season with alot of scrappy 1 nils and many contaversial decisions. ie Drogba using his hands on more than 1 occasion. There a team full of overpaid, over rated diving wimps. (apart from terry n lampard.) Money can buy alot of things but you cant buy history, and the champions league trophey!!!

Well said, I totally agree. Liverpool have won more cups and shields than any other team, (correct me if Ime wrong). But Man. U have been a good team in the past

They are the best team in England at the moment by a long way and no I don't support them. I think a lot of the other big clubs are getting a bit jealous as they can't see them being toppled. History counts for very little. You can have the best team ever seen and not have a history of winning major honours

I don't think Mourinho or Chelsea have ever excessively boasted. However, they have the players, and the money, and thus, unofficial bragging rights. As long as they win matches, they will make hay while the sun shines, 'coz even this juggernaut, like all others, will finally come to an end one day. Who knows, maybe Newcastle, or some other team, may rise. But as of now, Chelsea are the champions, and they are only adding to their firepower.

Um, don't kno which team you support but I'm guessing Arsenal, Man Utd or Liverpool. Chelsea rule, they're playing great just as usual; and yes they lose games and have bad days but so does every other team.
Liverpool are a good team especially because they have quality players like Stevie G and JC but besides those 2, I don't think any other L'pool player can compare to any players from Chelsea.
Arsenal have Henry and Lehmann and other great players but even still not many of em can compare to Robben, Terry or Lampard.
Man Utd suck; only Rooney rules. Can't wait for Rooney to kick Ronaldo's ***, hope it happens soon.

well, at the moment thney are successful becauswe a load of money has been invested into the team and it shows. they'll go down again eventually like any other club because in the long run, to quote otto rehagel, money doesn't score goals, players do.

You cant leave on past trophies, only thing in soccer that really maters is present and future - both of them are depending on money which can buy the best. At the moment is Chelsea the BIG thing and Abramovich the guy, who is willing to spent money onto his team. Sorry....
