What is sin? If it is just not doing and thinking exactly as priests want, then it needs no remedy. More people should sin, if it is defying those totalitarian tyrants. My concept of real sin is anything that hurts humans, so much of what priests do is worse sin than the actions they condemn.

Repentance is the remedy. There are 4 steps to repenting:

1. Realize that you did something wrong, and feel bad about your actions.
2. Ask God for forgiveness.
3. Fix the problem you caused.
4. Never do it again.
