I'm all for short shorts... AT HOME. In public, having your butt hanging out is just gross. I like walking around at home, showing off my butt to my husband, but you wouldn't catch me showing it off to the whole world. To me, people who do that are just nasty and looking for attention.

Oh God, nothing too negative I hope. OK, I'll go on here and admit that I have some of these and I have worn them. One of the big problems is I spend a lot of time tugging at them so they don't ride up TOO much. I'll usually wear them with flip flops.
OK, I'm now going to grit my teeth and read what others have said.....!

I am guessing that this question is posed to both males and females. I think it depends on where you are. If it's a club, beach, your working out, going out somewhere, ok it's sexy as long as you have a sexy butt...however it can be unappropriate in some cases. If I see you shopping in the mall with half your *** hangin out I am going to think negative thoughts and I don't care how tight your body is!

Makes me think they are craving some male attention. Often I just shake my head and hope their wearing it because they like it and not to get some guys interested in them because that is the wrong way to go about it. Screams easy.

Personally, if they're wearing a shirt that covers up a bit, then I don't really pay that mich attention, but I think that maybe they want more attention than they're getting.

I think it is disgusting! Short shorts are fine, but not so short that your butt shows! Even if you are thin and toned, I think it's nasty.

I hate it when people call girls sluts. HATE IT. Society treats girls as objects of desire who have no desire of their own. It is because of the inflamed stereotypes of today's world that girls feel like they should wear clothes like that.
Also, you never see MEN being called sluts no matter how many people they've slept with or how promisciously they dress. This is because men are allowed by the societies and cultures of the world to have sexuality.
Hmph.
