People we know and see don't really need to email us to have a conversation unless its something that needs to be said or done immediately and people you meet online ususally have no other way to contact you.

HAHAHA! It means some people like to email and others just don't make time for it. The people who are on this website LOVE to email - this is fun for them - your family and friends may not enjoy it to this extent. But I get what you're saying - good one!!

It means - why bother writing when you can hop across the town and meet someone in person... and why take the trouble to hop cross an ocean when you can email a person you can't meet by hopping across the town.

It usually means that you are looking for the more interesting than what you already have in your life. Not that your Real times friends aren't interesting. It's just that you know them and you do things your comfortable with them. People on the internet are new and seem exciting and interesting with a different life then yours and you can be a little different then you are in the life that you have.
