can dogs look up? i think its the same with pigs.

i know they can move their eyes up but can they actualy move their head up that far?

Its a myth, they both can. I used to breed pigs, both middlle whites and Berkshires. And they can both look up, but they don't unless you hold some food above their snouts. Maybe adult pigs are less able to if they get fat, as they build up a collar of fat around their necks. They don't have a lot of movement in that direction, but they can raise their heads and tilt their snouts above the level of their back, and their eyes are near the top of their head. So they can look up.
Some species of animal have no incentive to look above them. Horses don't look at the sky, neither do pigs. There's nothing up there to interest them. They're more concerned with whats going on around them than whats above their heads.

Hilarious film.. I am sure dogs can look up. My dog does, i am sure of it because he hates airoplanes and helicopters and always looks up to the sky and barks like a lunatic when he spots one.
I have no idea about pigs.

Dogs, yes. Just saw a dog do it a minute ago. Never seen a pig no it even when I've fed them in zoos.

if you lay on your back are you looking up or down? either way that proves that all animals can look up. Except sharks who will die.....and blind people too I guess. Actually there are many things that can't look up now that I think of it. That may be a better question. I love that movie by the way.
