You don't. Time will help you slowly forget.

The easy answer is that you're never going to totally get over the person that you consider the love of your life.

The reality is time will heal. It may take a few months or an entire year, but time will soothe your pain.

Always retain those memories and be happy in the knowledge that you grew from the experience.

You have to step out on faith and know that if that relationship did not work, then there is someone else better in store for you. You learn from that experience and appreciate the good times that you and your mate had. You take some time to yourself to heal. Hang out with your friends and use them to vent and express whatever feelings of hurt, disappointment, anger and resentment that you may feel for your relationship not working out. You put that energy into something positive like going to the gym, or taking a class, or whatever to better who you are.....and before you know it, there will be someone new in your life that makes you smile, laugh, and feel even better! I know it's hard to believe and feel, especially if the break up is new...but TRUST me, it will get better, you will move on, and there WILL be someone else :)

Good Luck! :)

here is something which may help.
hey,get a paper and a pen write in it your goals "something you want to acheive" put this paper in front of you all the time and let it be the reason for which you are alive and do your best to acheive it.
then when you do it write another paper and so on,don't give yourself the chance to think, by the time you will forget it and find someone better.

You don't, if its the love of your life you will always be with them.
