that's physically impossible because the world cup is every 4 years. so they'll have to wait for South Africa in 2010. plus, if i'm not mistake, i think india is ranked dead last in all 210 teams worldwide. so i'll say they have 000000000000000000 shot in hell. if somehow they win, i'll move to india and turn muslim.

They are currently 2nd favourites behind Australia. However they are
unlikely to win. I think it'll be a bridge too far.
