I work for a police department, the other day we encountered a mentally handicapped teenager who had somehow wandered away from his parents home. He wasn't trying to run away, he is just obsessed with busses and will take any opportunity to ride one.
Long story short, we were able to recover him (he was listed as a missing person, he had been gone for 3 days). He was happy to get home and his parents were happy to have him.
