How do residential property managers determine their fees and where should I go to find one?

We will be moving out of the country for a year but renting out our home. We need someone to manage the property for us.

Fees can be either based on a % of rents collected or negotiated as a flat fee. If you have only 1 property, I would negotiate a flat fee...some real estate brokerages also offer property management services..call around your area and enquire....

Talk to a real estate agent, they usually do the job. The fee is usually a persentage of the rent. (10-15%).
