what is the part that the tip goes into and the shaft

the tip goes into the barrel, the shaft into the other end of the barrel and flights go into the shaft and there are othe ammendities that can be used, such as o-rings to keep the shaft or removable tip from unthreading if optioned...also shaft protectors to help from "robin-hooding" and flight protectors to prolong life of flights.....there are many variations of darts and many aftermarket products to add to your "DART"...just have fun and BE THE DART....... sorry...been drinking heavily for 3 days....mighta missed something
