This happened a day before my period and now a week after, It is a light brown mucus discharch when i wipe after using the restroom.

The brownish color is cause by blood, you're spotting. Check with a gyno.

Usually brownish color is from blood, you may have a small tear inside. I would go to the GYN and get it checked out.
