II have no problems with people who are having body piercings and to me it's also a way to express yourself and your individuality. However I myself have no piercings besides the four I have in each ear lob and I do not want any others.

I'm 17 and I badly wanted a bellybutton ring from my 12. From the age of 12 I've changed my mind 100 times: from yes to the absolute no! The past year I've been gathering information and asking around about it so that I could be informed about the pain, the side effects ect. I've heard the worse and on February I was sure I wasnt going to pierce. On April I decided to finally do it no matter what might happen to me! And so I did! I've heard the pain from the piercing is a lot and that I will not be able to sit for days, maybe weeks(because the belly is squashed), that everytime I use the antiseptic it will badly sting and that it will get caught everywhere. They were absolutely withought a doubt WRONG! It hurt less than a injection shot, I was able to sit after an hour, the antiseptic felt like water and it gets caught only in a knitted blouse I wear. I'm so happy I followed my heart and didnt listen to everyones bad words... But anywayz I suggest that you search what u r about to do to ur body. Love Nicole

Certain ones look good. I had a friend get her tounge pierced once and it got infected, green puss and all. She's never doing that one again. Sorry to gross you out, but it was worse in real life. I think nose piercings are cute with a little diamond stud in it. Naval rings are cute too. Beyond that I don't really like anything else. It's hard to focus on someone when they're talking to you if all your thinking about is all of their facial piercings.

I find piercings distractive from the person — the same as too many tattoos. Why? Less is more.
Do some medical reading about the infections incurred from piercing and then decide if it's worth it.
It's a youthful fad, but as you get older, and skin goes south, you'll look dreadful.

The only piercing I personally have a problem is the one on the bridge of the nose. Whenever I see that I can just picture if I had it, the light glinting off it would drive me nuts. As for the others, they don't bother me. But that doesn't mean I'd get all the rest for myself.

ears-okay no more than 2 bottom and top.
belly-okay
nipples-looks cool on guys but ouch
tongue-trashy
private parts-who cares
below bottom lip-looks cool
eyebrow on guy looks okay
just like tatoos though i think guys suit and look awesome and girls look gross-i hate the lower back buzz that the girls keep going for and i laugh when they wear those little shirts in winter and bend over so everyone can see it.
me personally, only my ears are done once.i also have a tattoo which i regret everyday.which im going to get removed, i make a statement with my inner beauty and dont need to impress anyone by stapling my body or trashing it with tattoos.i guess i grew up.....................

People look at body piercing as a sexy thing to do.
Me myself when I see a bellybutton ring or a ring in any other part of the body I only think about one thing “god that must be painful”.

Love them but don't have many of mine still adorned these days.
I like to get a piercing to remind me of a big event in my life, I like them to mean something rather than make a fashion statement.
Don't like bellybuttons pierced but I'm a bit weird about my bellybutton!

I think certain ones are ok. I used to have my tongue pierced and soon I'm going to get my nose pierced. Sometimes I think people have too many though.

I like them . I've had my tounge , belly button, eye brow and labri. I had to remove my eye brow and labri for work :( since they were facial piercings. but I love piercings. My fav. was my labri. If you have a problem with your piercing at least you can just take it out. I have 3 tattoos also and love them but if i ever got tired of them i'd be stuck with them . I'm not paying a crap load of money to have something removed that only costed me less than 100 bucks to have put on my body.
