Sure, why not? If it's something that's going to hurt your mate than why would you discuss it with them. In the best of relationships there should be things that are better kept "unspoken" between mates. I know there will be people that say, "there are no secrets" between them and their mate. And I say bullshit! Would I tell my mate that a mutual friend said she wanted to have sex with me? NO. If my mate had the same encounter would I want to know? YES. Would I expect that she would tell me? NO.

Case in point; Were at a restaurant and the woman at the next table sitting behind my mate and I have made eye contact in a friendly manner. Her mate excuses himself and the next thing I know she is making sexual gestures while looking at me. She mouths the words that she wants to suck my co*k and slowly slides her finger in and out of her mouth. My mates going on and on about new furniture for the family room and I'm bustin a woody under the table. WOULD I TELL MY MATE ABOUT THIS ENCOUNTER? NO! NO! NO! And NO! Would I tell a friend? You betcha. I'm telling you, aren't I?

I believe that if I ever met my true soul mate I would tell them almost everything.....but most things from my past that are painful and some shameful for me I would only share with God. Your soul mate should be more your confidant than your friends. What would you hope your mate would do in the same situation??

Actually no. I feel that a relationship works better if it's just the two people and not them and everyone else. Even if you have a deep secret it's best to tell ur mate cause a so call friend can hold it over ur head and use it in the long run.

Only on a sort of ad hoc basis... things that I need advice on which are outside the purview of my mate's experience.
