It seems to me that the main difference is that the Dems are working domestically to mold the US into a more socialist "UN friendly" nation. The GOP is doing the same thing, only on an international level. A major part of their effort is removing national leaderships who are resistant to economic integration.

The goal of each is a single global economic system. Propaganda, military, financial control, and the American people are their tools. They play a lousy game of "good cop, bad cop" once you realize what their agenda is.

One caveat I'd like to add is that my answer is not intended as a "blame America" cop out. It's simply a fact that we have suffered a form of administrative coup d'etat for the last several decades. I don't blame America. I blame the corporatists who are running the country using deceit and/or blatant defiance to the will of the US majority.

Democrats think public sector organisations could do more to represent the interests of more people; Republicans would rather keep government to a minimum and let dog eat dog: they're usually not too poor themselves.

The main difference lies in ideology. Democrats tend to be liberal and favor a greater participation by the national government while republicans tend to be conservative and favor states to be held accountable for policy-making.

Anymore, they are drawing closer together in thier issues, that its hard to tell a Democrat from a Republican...

If it wasnt for the Abortion issue, I could vote for Democrats...but, until they quit killing the unborn, I cant.

Other than that, I could toss a coin in the air and vote for whom ever it comes down for...

I wish you well...
