try and work a little bit harder and more serious than u r b/4 .this 'll make your boss get enough of you b'cos he will find no fault in your work and nothing to complain about, he will get the hell out of your life and stop fraustrating you or he might get at someone else.

Of course he should be doing that . That's his job . He needs to take work from his employees and that's what he is doing.
In other way you may not be loyal to your work or not willing to work in that position. May be thats irritating you ?
Try to change your attitude towards your job.

is he keeping eye on u or on ur work. if its u then take the advantage of it and if its ur work then boss is always right. let him do what he is doing and u do what u are paid for doing.

if he has this much free time I would make it interesting for him pretent to call people and set up appointments re file all your papers organise your desk after awhile he will get tired of watching you,you could even re write his contact file update the employee files ect...
