You can put your own pictures on U.S. postage, but you can't exactly make the stamps yourself. This is perfectly legal but costs more than the boring flags. Three sites to try: http://www.zazzle.com ; http://www.stamps.com : http://www.endicia.com -- all of these have about the same prices.

Yes it's true! If you mean like personalizing your stamps with your own pictures... yes! I've never done it myself but I did the reaserch a while ago, try the sites I'm linking below... if you ever try it an like it , message me! :-)

Even Yahoo! Photos has the option, or at least it did during the holidays... go check it out! Enjoy your day!

BTW, I print my postage almost everyday for stuff I sell at eBay, that's another service from PitneyBowes thru PayPal, and you can also do it at usps.com, that's just paying for your postage online and printing it on your own printer at home, it's great... I never go to the post office! But I thought you meant like personalizing your stamps, and those are the links I'm giving you, I hope it helps

You can, but just like printing money, it would be fraudulent, counterfeit and illegal.
You can go to court if you do, because in making a stamp you're not paying for the postage, and therefor "stealing" it from the post office.
Dont do it!

it is actual that that's between the dictionary definitions, yet you misunderstand - it does no longer recommend every person can merely placed that on a letter and by no skill pay for shipping. If it grow to be that straightforward, each individual might want to do it and the post place of work might want to have lengthy gone broke some time previous. in uncomplicated words the post place of work itself, and particular establishments formally granted this privilege by technique of the post place of work, can deliver their letters "frank". If every person else tried it, the letter might want to easily be considered "inadequate postage".
