i have 24 % caustic soda and i wish to concentrate it to 25 %. i have 48 % caustic soda

If we consider the concentration per gram, then 48% means 48g per 100g of solution. 24g of soda make a solution of 48% in 50g of solution, whereas 25g of soda makes a solution of 48% with 52g of solution. So if we add 2g of 48% solution to the solution of 24% we can obtain the 25% caustic soda.

Your question makes no sense. If you have 48% and you really need to have 25% instead of 24% (does it make that much of differnce in your application?) make the proper dilution from the 48%.
Never try to concentrate such solutions.

you would have to mix 1 part of 48% solution and 23 parts of 24% solution
