seems like sony ericsson comes up with de latests gizmos and nokia jus seems to use de same techno in a better way....n symbian is gud but slow.....sony ericsson software better n friendly...! talkin abt style nokia rox......talkin abt interface sony ericsson rox.....but still i cant decide which 1 is better..any help..??!!..........n how abt 6680....comparin with 6630 n w810i?

hellos... i agree with you that both SE and Nokia are the best brands right now. they have a lot of modern features, huh? i would say that Nokia has better functions than SE. SE has the better looks though to me. there are so many models one after another. honestly if i could have the N93 i would get that one because i think it has wifi capability. i don't think SE phones have wifi. i really don't know anything about the 6630... but i have the SE w810i. i'll tell you what it feels to have one right now haha. it feels great! it has a pretty good 2.0 megapixel camera. the cams great in lighted areas like outdoors. the quality doesn't match up at unlighted places or night time though. it has a flashlight/flash which is pretty useful. i usually don't use the built in flash when taking pics because you don't need it during daytime and at night time it doesn't really improve the quality. however, as a flashlight, it's great for using it at night sometimes. the interface is fast... not much lagging at all. you won't be annoyed of "loading" times haha. i heard people saying they experienced drop calls but that has never happened to me before. the MP3 player is great. the sound quality is pretty good... better on the headphones than via loudspeaker. there's a 512 MB memory card included with the phone so you don't have to waste $ to buy a separate one. there's an in flight option where only the MP3 player is on while the phone feature is off. the only thing i don't like about this phone is that the battery doesn't last very long if you keep messing with the menus and such or listening to songs via the loudspeakers. normal use you can probably last two days or so. also, the speakers aren't as loud as other phones. this phone also doesn't have 3G feature... but i don't think US has this feature anyway if you live here. well good luck with your next phone!

Definitely Sony ericsson is the best. Not just that you get more features for less cost but also the speed is just excellent. Considering the interface to a pc there is no problem at all. All you have to do is to install the pc suite that comes with your sonyericsson cell phone and you can easily manage everything. I have a k750i and I use it for surfing the net on my computer . Sony ericsson cellphones wont be affected by virus while the nokia symbians easily get infected even damaging the cell. The camera quqlity is just great on the 750i. I think w800i also has the same features with better sound. Dont know much about 810i. DONT BUY NOKIA. ITS JUST A WASTE OF MONEY

for your case , i think Nokia 6680 and 6630 is for person who like to do a lot download application software and themes and easy to use , Both also 3G phones with Mini MMC Card that cheap when buying 1GB memory .
For Sony Ericsson W810 , is a walkman phones that have a very good quality sound , best colour screen , 3D game , Animation Themes and also good camera . Disadvantage is not 3G phones and memory stick is sooooo expensive when buy 1GB memory
For 2nd hand value when resale , Nokia have a good old value that not drop a lot but Sony Ericsson the resale value drop a lot even using 2 weeks , it will drop like hell the 2nd hand value .
So if you dont wish to change handphone always , go Sony Ericsson W810 .

NOKIA WINS HANDS DOWN...i worked for cingular in customer service 4 1/2 years. of all trouble calls we received about handsets and people wanting to thro the fons against the wal nokia overall by far had the least calls. i personally would never buy an sony ericsson. lets face it there is a reason sony and ericsson came together late 01 early 02. both reception wise and user friendly nokia rocks. i've had three no complaints.

In one word, Sony Ericsson, today everyone is holding Nokia, it's being old and i always don't like it's menu, Sony Ericsson is the best.

Go for an N91. 4gig hard disk, nokia ruggedness.
Nokia makes phones that work (in respect to PC connectivity) universally well, whereas Ericsson you have to tweak the hell out of just to connect it.
Ericsson also tend to rush out phones a la Microsoft. That makes them *really* buggy -- as opposed to the reasonably buggy that Nokia phones are...
I have to say that in my years as a tech advisor, Nokia throws up the least bugs in comparison to the other manufacturers.
Plus the plugin apps for Nokias are far better than any other mobile (not including windows mobile handsets).

sony ericsson.nokia is more expensive and u get less features.
I always bought nokia and my brother sony ericsson and the always had a better phone for less cash.
and the walkman edition is soooooo gooooddddd !!!!!!!!
