I've only been to Kerala and Tamil Nadu. They were both incredible, I had the most amazing Christmas there. Lots of time just hanging out on the beach and eating the freshest fish and curries every night. We also went on a houseboat for a few days through the kerala backwaters, and to some big old hindu temples, markets etc. I think its probably very different to the north, but still awesome, especially if you're just going for a short holiday and backpacking for months or something. It wasnt even that much, my family didn't both with the holiday brochures, we just booked a flight to Thirvanathpuram with Kuwait air and found accommodation when we got there. It was a little scary as it was the same week the US first carpet bombed Iraq. Still, we made it. Have a good holiday :)

Kerala. It can be called nothing but the heaven on Earth.Smaal but incredibly beautiful the land is full of green landscapes. The trees an d the whole state willl leave you mesmerised for a lifetime. This is not the place where you can expect shopping malls in every corner and five star hotels. But you have theswe tiny, cosy shops which are better than the malls and other stuff. The best way to enjoy Kerala would be by train. The place is amazingly beautiful.Youve got temples mosques and churches which have been splendidly built. So I say Kerala which is called Gods Own Country is the best place to travel to

India has trekking, mountain climbing, white water rafting, birdwatching, animal sanctuaries, cultural sites, religious site, beaches, trance parties, what are you looking for?
