Everyone else is wrong. FACT. Bill Hicks. Funniest man who ever lived. And a miserable bastard too. Though for pure nastiness, Jerry Sadowitz. Got decked on stage at the Montreal comedy festival after the opening line 'hello moosefuckers!' Two weeks in hospital I think.

Armando Ianucci - he's not a comedian per se but he writes and produces some of the funniest things I have ever seen (in my humble opinion). Everything he does makes me laugh.
