Besides the regular ways, how can I find exceptionally talented people in or near NYC?

How does one find exceptionally talented college students around NYC? Wondering how the other producers are finding their talent. Yes, I have my own methods but wondering what's your method or what's the best way to find talent? Any creative ideas?

Check out peoples "talents" that they post on youtube. There are some pretty crazy stuff you can see... or even on myspace with their video clips. If your looking for college aged people... why not check out colleges... especially the frat and sorority houses. They sometimes have talent shows so they basicilly do some of the work for you :) Plus, if your in New York there are lots of talent agencies.... check there.
