Medical doctor? Not always. I will not take it for granted, that whatever opinion they have provided is truely the answer, relating to the problems...
Doctor's advice to us are always their diagnosis or findings. I take it more like opinion than answer. Especially when it comes to drug prescription, I will normally try to find out what are the side effects that comes along with it. For instance, steriods?.. Somehow, even if it is not doing big harm in small dose.. I still believe that the liver has to work a little harder for that, and all these are not flushed off, it stays in the body to fill the bucket...
As these drugs has always been known to treat symptoms, but it is not getting to the root of the problem. If you prevent certain symptoms, the illness may manifest itself in other ways.
Especially for chronic cases, I always like to do some research on my own, to even turn at alternative treatment.
I do not trust all doctors, coz I have seen some who do not even know what tonsil stones are. Though so, I have also seen very good doctors, who works closely with you to solve some health bothering problems.. But in general, you certainly have to give credit for what they really know.
Good day to you.

I don't...I take a second opinion from my friends, third from my colleagues, fourth from my cousins, fifth from my boss, sixth from my neighbors, seventh from my chemist, eighth from mom n dad.....and then I loose the prescription !

I don't. They're more interested in writing prescriptions that finding the cause of the problem.
