The "Creation" story was taken from the Babylonian Gilgamesh epic, but the names were changed to fool the unintelligent. People are answering your question without using logic, or even trying to seek truth through evidence. The echos of the big bang are still being recorded, there is a consistent fossil record of how we evolved, there is a literary tradition that predates the bible's creation myth, there is no evidence at all that a man named Jesus ever lived, yet you ask Jesus worshipers to define their insanity with logic, a concept completely foreign to them.

Well, I dont know by your question if you believe that theory or not, but the proof is not only all arround us but, when you pick up the Bible it really is reading a powerful book or a book with much power and when you open your mind and your heart to those words that are in there, you will recieve all the proof that you need and much more. So my advice is do not just take what others, (including myself) have to say about the Bible but really give it a try for yourself and like i said if you open your heart to it.....

It is not logical...it is called "faith". Faith means not having ot have proof of something to believe. If you have faith in someone, you believe they will act a certain way, even if you have no evidence beforehand that they will. Nothing we believe relative to the beggining of time is logical, because there is really no direct proof, just alot of theories. I choose to go with the theory that God made all of this happen. I might get me further than believing that some rocks banged together and here we are.

The Bible is unfolding right before our very eyes. Things prophecied hundreds and hundreds of years ago are taking place now even now. Read the book of Daniel, eg and Revelation. Since it's the only book that can accurately foretell the future, surely God's Word can be trusted for everything else.

how logical is it to look down at an intricate wristwatch and say "I don't think this watch was intellegently designed, it happened by chance." How much more intricate is the entire universe and just our planet earth! That all just fell together perfectly? By chance?
I don't know the exact odds of that, but I like the odds that there's a supreme being and athority over us.

but hey, whatever you beleive, just stay cool

I think Bible is a nice story, but you need faith to be a creationist.

I find Darwin's explanations more logical.

If my memory serves me well,, life came as cells from water and it took milliards of years to develop.

Hope my English is understandable.

It depends on your faith. Either you believe that we came from monkeys, which begs the question, why are there still monkeys here, or you believe we were created by an intelligent Designer. Look at all the things around you. Were they "big banged" into existence or were they "created" by someone intelligent?

That all depends on your viewpoint.
Which is more believeable, the work of scientist with fossil records and physical data, or a story about talking snakes?

How logical is it to believe that a mysterious explosion called the big bang came from absolute nothingness to create the universe?

Who belives we came from monkies?
That is absurd and has nothing to do with evolution!

I belive in evolution because it has been proven.
I do not belive in the big bang because it has not been proven.

I guess it is time for another Science lesson kids.
