It is a collection of symptoms that are related. There are multiple causes and you have to see what the triggers are and cut back on them or avoid them entirely White flour bothers some but not others.
Treatments include
a high fibre diet with added metamucil twice a day
a prescription for the symptoms you have

Irritable Bowel Syndrome, I am a sufferer of this and have been for a while now, this condition to me at least is very painful and controls a lot of what I do in life. I cant eat cheese, fried food, fatty foods, dairy, cheese flavourings, anything spicy. and on about 9 tablets a day for it. Its basically where the lining of the bowel becomes red and inflamed i think and as food goes down it irritates the lining thus causing the bowl to become irritable and spasm. There are a lot of self help groups out there bout by far the best I have found is the ibsnetwork. they have a subscription fee but it can be subsidised but it give you a cant wait card which can be invaluable to you in many a place you just show the shop keeper it and they usually allow you to use the toilets. Check it out.

Firstly: Its Irritable Bowel Syndrome
Second: Its only IBS when its been diagnosed by a professional, until that point it just a tummy ache
Third: When youve been diagnosed, youll be prescribed drugs such as Mebeverine Hydrochloride to ease the spasms
Fourth: Symptoms include diarrhoea / constipation, bloating, pain in lower tummy....
Fifth: Its not an 'Infectious Disease', so wrong category
Last: what about it?? You havent asked a question, just put together some random words!

"Irritable Bowel" refers to a disturbance in the regulation of bowel function that results in unusual sensitivity and muscle activity.
It is is characterized by symptoms of abdominal discomfort or pain, usually in the lower abdomen (although the location and intensity are variable, even at different times within the same person), and altered bowel habit (change in frequency or consistency) -- chronic or recurrent diarrhea, constipation, or both in alternation.
Abdominal pain has been reported as primarily crampy or a generalized ache with superimposed periods of abdominal cramps, although sharp, dull, gas-like, or nondescript pains are also common. The abdominal discomfort or pain are usually relieved with a bowel movement.
