I have this universal remote. i want to know how to program it to my VCR and TV

There are 2 kinds of universals. 1 kind has a list of stuff in the manual and you punch in the numbers of the machine you want to control.
the other has a receiver to get the signal from another remote which it copies.
Look in the manual to figure out what you have to do.

you should have your copy or the manual in it when you purchase the remote
