I bent out of the window and look out for some time and then I just try to fall and when anyone tries to stop me either I am just walking or already trying to fall out of the window I hold my breath till my face changes color or/and I lose consciousness, and it is also very hard to wake me up, shaking and yelling doesn't work, only cold water or sever pain does. My family is strictly against any psyhologist, but I'm really scared about myself and my family. When I wake up I don't remember a thing, and for the first few times I didn't believe I did such things, I belived only when my brother videorecorded it. Is there any way I can get out of it? Meditate or whatever... (I know it is not normal)

In stead of referring to the doctors, I like to suggest you to have 1 hour daily meditation, concentrating yourself.

thus, you are self doctor for your this type of problems. you need self treatment. you need to build up self confident that you are yourself strong.

be realistic instead of watching movies like ghost, thriller and killing..

Treatment and Management

Treatment for sleepwalking is often unnecessary, especially if episodes are infrequent and uncomplicated. Safety issues are of prime importance to someone who sleepwalks and to others who are involved with managing the condition. The following measures are usually recommended:

Locate the bedroom on the main floor, if possible. Lock the windows and cover them with large, heavy drapes.
Keep the floor clear of harmful objects.
Remove any hazardous materials and sharp objects from the room and secure them in the house.
Stay on the first floor when visiting others and when sleeping at a hotel.
Medication may be used in cases where episodes are violent, injurious, frequent, or disruptive. Therapy usually consists of either a benzodiazepine, such as Diazepam® or Alprazolam®, or a tricyclic antidepressant. Among other things, these drugs inhibit chemical processes associated with sleep regulation, which, depending on the patient, may or may not result in fewer episodes of sleepwalking. Biofeedback and hypnosis have also been used effectively with individual sleepwalking patients.

Many sleepwalkers claim the first step in management is to recognize that sleepwalking is not evidence of insanity. Because sleepwalking is an involuntary behavior, it separates people from most of the general public and is often wrongly associated with madness. As mysterious as its occurrence is, it does not indicate mental dysfunction and should not be treated as such.

I think you need to see a doctor and get professional help, advice and support. You can take the video footage with you too. Try showing the footage to your family, they will then be able to understand how serious this is and may well change their minds about potential treatment methods especially when they see how much danger you are in.

You are not abnormal!
There are many people with relatively similar sleeping complaints. A visit to your GP would direct you to an appropriate specialist. These will not be labelled as psychologists but doctors and should, hopefully, fit with your family's (unusual) needs.

You poor thing - you must be terrified.

Why is your family so against psychologists? That's just irresponsible - they should be helping you get all the help you need.

Go to your doctor - you must get this sorted out. To hell with your family, your health and safety matters far more than what they think.

Good luck xxx

What you are doing is definetly dangerous and possibly life threatening. If you family thinks you shouldn't seek professional help, perhaps THEY should seek professional help.

Take the video and seek professional help before something terrible happens.
