What do you mean by trust? Trust with what? People who are atheists are trusting, friends of others, dependable, etc. They just don't believe in God. You do know that there are people who say they believe in God, but who do you wrong still, don't you? It's like being treated wrongly by a christian, while a non-christian treats you like you'd expected the christian to treat you. God is love. Anyone who loves, in my opinion, is manifesting God because that's what God is: Love! Even atheists who don't acknowledge God's existence. In the end, I believe they will find out.

So you only trust people you respect? Can you not respect someone if they have an opinion or belief that differs from your own?

People who trust in god lie as do athiests... it is part of the human condition. My opinion is you need to redifine your criteria for trust.
