Last night i had the worst dream ever, i dreamed my 4 year old boy fell out off a window and died. Soon after the dream my son had waken up he came into my room, telling me he was having a bad dream he said he was crying and i couldn't find him. Is it possible we had the same dream? He is starting school fulltime in a week could the dreams be linked with that?

I don't think you had the same dream but I think you guys are both worried about him starting school. The falling out of a window can be interpreted as you being afraid that he's not ready and might fail hence the falling and dying. he was probably crying and felt lost because he knew he'd be alone at school and might be worried about parting from you. Try to reassure him that school is great, fun, inviting and he has nothing to worry about. you too! Your son will be alright

Yes, it's possible to be linked. I do Dream Analysis and Interpretation. I subscribe to the Theory of Carl Jung's Collective Unconscious coupled with the Gaia Theory where the Planet is a living organism.

The Electromagnetic Field surrounding the Planet functions on the same Principles as that of the Human Mind. So people's minds are like Organic Host Servers linked up to a Local Area Network.

I've see this with a lot of people. Some of them are Dream Clairvoyants. If the link is really strong, between a mother and child, you can have similar dreams. The symbols are usually translated differently though based off of experiences.

For example, let's say that I talked to both you and your son via the Internet. You don't know what I look like, but my name is Rod. If you and your son both dreamt about me, you'd have different dreams.

Your son may think of fishing for a Fishing Rod because of word association. You may actually have an old high school friend named Rod that would surface in your dream. That's how your Subconscious processes information using word association or elements taken from your past.

It's actually a good Sign if you and your son are linked like that. You may actually be correct about it being related to school starting in a week. That can be a traumatic event for a young child.

Don't sweat it.....I would only worry if you had a history of bad dreams. We are bound to have a few 'crazy' dreams now and then because we have so many over our lifetime. If 2% are a little crazy don't worry. I would worry more about the dreams that center negatively around yourself....might be an indication of a poor self esteem or something. And maybe your son did have some connection with you in his dream. That's nothing to worry about.......I think that is healthy because it means you probably have a good loving relationship.

Don't pay to much attention to any comments about Dream interpretation...........that is way overrated.....It is more like palm reading or closer to witchcraft than an actual science. Another field where there are too many PHD's trying to make money off their books.

It sounds like you both are having seperation anxiety. I had the same problem with my youngest. Just give it some time everything will be okay. Mine is now 16. I wish I could go back to those days.

i think you`re not being able to find him & the danger you had in your dream.probaly represents your aniexty toward starting school.he probaly feels it too. it is a major change for both of you.try to be positive with him, at this age school can be fun-new friends, different play centers, activities.it`s hard to seperate, tell him ,you`re going to miss him too.try to go to lunch ,once a week (teachers permission) good luck

His dream could be linked to that. You did not explain the same dream.

My mom once had a bad stomach ache and a really weird feeling around 3 am. She had such a weird feeling, she decided to check up on me, apparently I was extremely sick and had to go to the hospital. Coincidence?

It's possible with people who share an emotional bond like, a parent and, a child, and something big and perhaps stressful is happening, to the both of you.
