Find a fat-free bread - you might need to see your local bakery for that.
How about tomato topped with fat-free Hellmann's Mayo - on toast - it's wonderful.
Make your own hummus - blend a can of chick peas (garbanzo beans) with some roasted garlic and a bit of jalapeno.
Try grilled zucchini, fried green tomato, thick slice of Spanish onion, thin cucumber slices, or lettuce and tomato. Prepare just about any of your favourite veggies on a grill or in a non-stick fry pan. Experiment.

Use whole wheat bread; it takes your body more energy to digest it, so it's less fattening than white bread. Use Miracle Whip Free; it's only 10 calories a tablespoon. Lettuce, tomato, pickle, and fat-free turkey.

Avocado is a good fat and a good spread.
Just load it up with seasonal salad vegetables and add some tahini for a dressing. (another good fat)
Are you getting my point?
You should balance ALL the nutrients (adjust carbs/protein/fat) to suit your metabolic type for healthy eating.
If you have to use bread, use whole grain, definitely not white, it's deadly!

first off try pita bread instead of regular or wheat. i would use lettuce, tomatoes, sandwich sliced vlasic pickles, and maybe a small onion slice. salt and pepper to add flavor and a fat free mayo or mustard. whichever you like. banana peppers are good too.

Or you could layer tomatoes with garlic salt and rosemary
Or grate carrots and slice beetroot with fat free dressing
