I can't get my other half to touch veg unless its in a stir-fry, in which the sauce means he can't taste the veg. He says he hates veg but he's not even tried most of it and refuses to even try some. Most of the guys I know are just as bad. Can anyone tell me why men have a phobia about vegatables please!

As a man, i can confirm we hate vegetables. This is a deep psychological feeling as too often, we feel threatened by certain vegetables. They are too often used as a replacement for the man...especially courgettes and cucumbers!

Dunno. Pisses me off when I prepare a big dinner then they walk in and eat most of the meat and potato or rice and never put the veggie on their plate. I ask if they dislike that certain veg and the answer is no.....then why don't they eat the damn thing? I'm stick with eating the leftover veggies and nothing to go with it. I have put the same pot of beans on the table 4 nights before (just for spite) and made no potato/rice.........HA HA

Not me, I love vegetable because its full of vitamins and minerals we needed to become healthy and strong. I Think, it is the preparation that counts.

Amazing! But isn't it interesting that when they go to mom's house they eat their veggies! My husband has learned that my whine is worse than any nasty tasting vegetable and he eats them....but it is soooo exhausting!
