God knew Jacob and Esau before they were born.
Read Jer. chap 1v.5 Before I formed the in the womb I knew you.

because he knew the outcome of both of their lives. Esau was born in the best family possible and he still had acted the way he did.
ps is was Jacob and Esau not Isaac

It would seem he did. Poor old Esau - what did he ever do wrong? Nothing, but God always seems to favor the younger brothers over the elders. Kinda strange prejudice.

It was Jacob and Esau. they were twins but Esau was born first. So rightfully he was the heir. Esau was irrevelant because he sold his birthright for a meal. He also was a violent man.
So you can you see God hates violence and people who are irrevelant.
