Sinners don't bother me, but Christians who sin are a real concern to me. Christ came to this world to "save us from our sins" but there seems to me to be a large number of confessing Christians who continue to sin. I don't understand that and it makes me wonder how many of them are really Christians. The Bible teaches us that in the last days many will be deceived into thinking they are Christians and are not. ! John tells us the way you know a genuine Christians is whether they live righteous lives or not. Jesus said in Matthew 7:22, "Many will say to Me on that day, (the day of judgment) `Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?' 23 "And then I will declare to them, `I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.'

*thinks* Nope, not really. In my eyes, a sin is when you do something you KNOW you're not supposed to do, but you do it anyway.

Now, before people start pointing fingers, think about this for a moment. If Christians know that to judge another is wrong, but they do it anyway, then they are committing a sin. If one race knows that violence is not the answer, and they do it anyway, then they are wrong and have committed a sin.

Just a thought....

Since the Bible says "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God", everyone is a sinner! That means everyone on here! Jesus is the only one who did not sin.

Maybe Yahoo should create a special "Confession Box" category for them.

I pray for sinners whenever I think of it or am reminded to--thank you, I will say a prayer for their realization and repentance now.

I am more concerned about the ignorance (mine as well) and I am very very concerned about ignorant people trying to make others as ignorant as them.

For the record; ignorance doesn't mean dumb, it means "not-knowing"

confessing to a sin has to be better than pretending it never happened.

Yes and not really. Because you can't really do anything to help them until they are open for help. Let them grow up first.
