No difference.

Complete security is an illusion. If someone wants to take an aircraft out they'll figure out a way to do it, one way or another.

I could round up sufficient items to use as weapons on any given flight, even with the severe restrictions currently in use in the UK. For obvious reasons I won't go into the details but if I can come up with something, so could a terrorist.

Consider one scenario brought on by the current security delays. The huge lines of people queuing up for security inspections are sitting ducks for a group of terrorists with automatic weapons. The don't even need to get on the plane and nobody is checking for any sort of weapons at that point.

We'd have to repeat 9/11 every 38 days to equal the carnage on the roads caused by drunk drivers. I'm far more concerned about making it to the airport in the first place than I am about anything happening once I get there.

now that terrorist know how the system works, they have found loopholes in your TSA/DHS procedures.

I have found one recently which has embarrased the TSA:

did you know that the TSA do not ask for any visa to lear to fly on a big simulator.

US citizen do not know that, in fact since the 9/11 nothing has been cjanged and terrorists still enter in the USA and are even type rated on aircraft...

soon, they will buy a foreign aircraft , fly over the sea, enter in the USA, and slam into towers...

go explain that to the TSA!!!they are totally clueless!

actually no longer. This sham of a so-referred to as conflict on terror has served to destabilize the entire international. First, u . s . a . of america by no skill addressed the excuses for the attacks. they stay merely as ignorant about the middle East as they ever were. numerous comments, exceptionally from the more effective common British Intellligence recommend that there are some distance more effective subterranean terrorist communities now than there have been on the time of 911. yet taking it previous merely the conflict on terror, the unilateral movements of the US have now opened the door for most countries around the globe who sense they have a beef with another us of a to also ignore about UN regulations and act as they please. unhappy because it grow to be, the chilly conflict actually helped to stabilize the conflict. yet now with the proliferation of guns (regularly presented by technique of the US) and the frenzy for nuclear superiority by technique of many smaller countries who're attempting to look after, if needed, aggression by technique of the US, any of its lackey allies, or their different enemies, the entire international is a ticking time bomb. It also does no longer help that in numerous countries around the globe, there is a few distance more effective talk about protection stress movements than there is international relatives. This, in my humble opinion, is an instantaneous effect of the aggression by technique of the US in diverse international places around the globe and their dismiss for the function of the UN. we'd want to continually no longer anticipate that because there have been no attacks in the US that those Al Qaeda appropriate communities are a lot less of a threat or diminishing. they have persevered to bomb different international places in the international, even as they least predicted it. u . s . a . of america is at present on extreme alert. yet because the worries wane, and they are going to, because it truly is in uncomplicated words human, they are going to floor back. Had a more effective wise and UN-depending frame of mind been taken, they could maximum in all probability no longer be a needed threat in the destiny. there is more effective than one thanks to win a conflict -- it isn't continually with guns, yet with smarts. obviously the latter doesn't were an selection with the dumbest chief in US history.

About the same. I usually just feel a tad inconvenienced that it takes so long in the airports, that's all. Sometimes it would be quicker to drive than to arrive 2 hours before flights, etc.

I have never felt safe in a airplane for the unseen mechanical failures, but the other thing at least you know what the problem is

My thought on safety in an airplane really hasn't changed. The chances of something happening to me while on a plane (terrorist attack or crash) is still minimal. I think we have helped curb some of the threat, but we have also put bad people in a position to become more creative in their attacks.
