From small town you can't, just smile when they ask and tell them "we had a good time for a while but she's not right for me" and put the emphasis on good time. Play it like you were using each other and you both got what you wanted. Just don't add to it by trying to put her down or rambling about her being easy.

Why do you have to feel stupid about it. Being able to go through and get over it, that's the reality of life.
You can't avoid the truth all your life. Take it as a life experience that will make you more matured in future.Just because it didn't turn out the way you expected, it doesn't mean you failed or made a complete idiot of yourself and have to regret it all your life. People move on with lives and that's the fact.

If she is still cheating on you then you know what to do.........Get rid of her and you could do much better than that. You seem like a really nice and honest guy and if this is how she treats you then you don't deserve to be with her. You deserve better.

If she loved you then she wouldn't hurt you like this.......

I think you should move on and hopefully you will meet the RIGHT one who will love and respect you for who you are.

In my truthful opinion, it seems such as you're contained in the buddy Zone. She dumped you immediately, you moved "too quickly" and you felt such as you probably did no longer deserve her? She broke up with you yet nonetheless needs you in her life? Have convos yet in hassle-free terms gets awkward once you enhance the courting? Sounds to me such as you're a solid buddy and not something greater. do no longer waste a while and money giving her romantic gestures on V-J Day. it's going to in hassle-free terms make you look greater pathetic, distinctly because she dumped you. Plus, in case you may no longer even enhance your courting in verbal replace, how lots greater awkward is plant life and a card on V-J Day going to be?? If it have been me, i could discover yet another lady. Then in line with possibility she'll see what she gave up. Be a guy, no longer a desparate fool. :P

YOU JUST SAID SHE'S YOUR EX-, THEN YOU SIMPLY TELL OTHERS THAT YOU'RE NOT WITH HER ANYMORE WHEN THEY ASK. SOCIETY IS THE ONE TO BLAME FOR THAT KIND OF PROBLEM, WHERE IT'S SOCIALLY ACCEPTABLE FOR GUYS TO HAVE PRE-MARITAL SEX WITH GIRLS WITHOUT REALIZING THEY'RE TURNING THE GIRLS IN SMALL TOWNS INTO HOES, AND NOW THEY'RE JUDGING THEM?? LOOK AT YOURSELVES IN THE MIRROR.

It seems like you have strong feelings for her, but if she's cheating on you, it's not worth being with her.

Whenever anyone mentions her to you just tell them you don't want to talk about her and she's history to you. And if they continue tell them you must want her. Go for it.
