OK one,dont listen to the first two,their idiots,i've actually been in the same situation,usually i ask her like "hows ur day""what did you do today"what are you doing tomorrow" just keep the conversation going.Trust me,i've been threw it,with my now gf,her name is Alex,shes very beautiful,they expect you to talk to them,tell her about your day,even if she doesn't ask you,tell her.

start it with a smile.just be yourself,hey you got the bonus since she used to like you before.that's mean that you have the quality that she likes.so,by just being yourself is more than enough.just...don't overdo it.girls hate cocky guy.
