Although sunflower & soya oil are fine, I suggest to use unhydrogenated, monounsaturated oils/fats like olive oil, canola oil & peanut oil. These oils are known to increase the amount of Good cholesterol or HDL.

As with all oils, these should be used sparingly.

the best oils for cooking are grapeseed oil, olive oil. safflower oil sunflower oil is good soybean oil is only good if it is organic much of the soy that is grown is grown for livestalk feed which is sprayed with 10 times more pesticides than that which is grown for humans. How ever the oil is still used in common vegetable oils. Canola oil is probably the worst of all the oils it comes from a plant called rape weed which is grown in Canada it the kind of oil used in paint. lt's easy to grow since it's a weed it does not have to be sprayed with pesticides because the bugs won't even eat it. The Canadian Government paid of The Food and Drug Administration to approve this money making crop.

We're very health conscious around this house, and my wife uses Canola(?) oil. I question the name of it since she is the cook and main shopper, so, I hope I spelled it right. She used to be part owner of a small baked potato restaurant in the local mall that did good business, so she knows what she's doing with food, and the canola oil leaves the food tasting great. God Bless you.

all vegetable oil, except those derived from palm/ coconut are healthy. sunflower oil is expensive, while soya bean oil is much cheaper, because china produce it in huge quantities. but you need to understand that oil is still fat, meaning healthy or not, it still contains a lot of calories!

Olive extra virgin cold pressed.
Best taste, least 'oily' flavor. Healty.
