why are there more mexican gangs than white gangs?

i got called a racist because I asked what state had the least amount of mexicans. I dont want my family to be around mexican gangs where we live. i dont want my kids exposed to them. what is so wrong with wanting to be around people of your own culture? and if mexicans are so much better than whites then why are there more mexican gangs than white gangs?

people! im talking about street gangs. violent criminal street gangs. the ones who have to kill someone in order to join a gang. the dangerous gangs. do any of you know what those are?

Wherever u go there are gangs cities, suburban, and even countryside gangs. Gang Culture is growing!!! White gangs are decreasing due to moving out when ethnic in a neighborhood is changing. I live in Chicago and there are lots of white gangs.

There are lots of white gangs in chicago and even in suburbs,
most suburban/urban white teens join blk/latino gangs (Gangster Disciples,Latin Kings, Maniac Latin Disciples, and other crew gangs with all ethnics). As well as other states there are whites that are CRIP/BLOOD members. Most of these white gangs here in chicago allow latino membership as well as black membership. There ARE white gangs out there, why are there more mexican gangs than white gangs? lol most latino gangs in chicago where started to protect each other from large WHITE gangs and BLACK gangs. If you don't want ur child to be in a gang the best u can do is show them love, respect, and talk to them about it and how it would feel.

I'm Mexican, and I know a few that were in a "gang" when they were younger. They grew out of it after middle school.
I'm not in a gang... Heck, I'm in college...

Also, please note that Mexicans are not the only Hispanic group. There are Cubans, Puerto Ricans, Columbians..etc etc...

My point here is, there are MExicans, Whites, Black, Cubans and any other race you can think of that are in gangs...just as there are ppl of the same race that are successful people.

And there is NOTHING wrong with wanting to be around people of your own culture; however, it is almost impossible to not be around people of other cultures if you're going to live in the US. THat is, unless you stay in your own little tidy community, with people just like you. Sounds boring to me. YOu should allow your children to learn about other cultures and learn to appreciate them, and that includes interacting with them. That way your children won't grow up to be ignorant citizens of this great nation. :)

Endure a little longer, and work on your spelling/grammar, no offense. Trust me, these guys are **** in the adult world. They have trouble finding good jobs and have no future because they didn't pay attention in school. And if they're dumb enough to continue vandalizing things after they're 18, they will get arrested and get punished as adults instead of juveniles. Change schools if you go to a bad one - a good opportunity to see how a good school is like. If not, then just don't mind them too much, and focus on school instead. If you knew how shitty they have it, you'd feel sorry for them, not angry. They're wangsters, anyway. Wannabe gangsters in it just for the style. There's only so much you can do to control another person. There's no point in wasting your time and effort, plus you might get yourself into trouble. Some things you just got to let it be, and let the authorities handle it. You'll be happy that you made the decision to improve yourself with the good things in life, instead of focusing on all the bad things.

there are not. you just hear about them more. the white gangs tend to be much larger, much better established and much more organized. This means that they appear less in the media, they are more able to fly under the police radar so to speak, and when they do go down they have an army of lawyers and other suits to help them in court and keep them out of jail. The next biker you meet notice how few of them have tattoos where they would show if they were wearing a suit.

Every major city in North America has gangs residing in them. You cannot escape them. I suppose North Dakota would be safest though... but who wants to live in Grand Forks.

Most white gangs run corporations and drive unlivable working conditions and wages.. some may say they kill more than street gangs.

You really can't just group an entire ethnicity into one category, especially if that category is about gangs and violence. Not all Mexicans are in gangs. Would you like it if I just said I hate white people because they are all conservative hicks who like going around with their guns and shooting every person they see running across the border? No. And nobody is saying Mexicans are better than whites, although you are obviously saying whites (as a whole) are better than Mexicans. So yeah because of THAT you are racist.

if you are going to ask yourself this question, you also need to ask yourself why are there more black gangs than mexican and white gangs? My answer is that no matter where you go, there will always be gangs. Believe me. Where I live, there are more asian gangs than mexican gangs, and more black gangs than any other.

It's politically incorrect to talk about Mexican gangs whether it's true or not. "Mexican Special Interest Groups" tend to congregate in the same manner that Caucasians do.

However, the purpose or intent is different. This is not to say that there's anything wrong with the Latino Groups. However, Social Standing, Wealthy, and Geography do play a role.

"Caucasian Gangs" do technically exist. However, they're not called gangs. Because the Caucasians in the United States had more of a head start when it comes to education, they form groups that have a purpose because the Education Level allows them to have some sort of direction.

When it comes to Latinos, their cumulative Intelligence tends to be lower because of poverty stricken areas that can't afford quality education like the Caucasian Community.

That's not to say that Latinos are unintelligent. If the Socioeconomic Status was reversed, you'd see a whole bunch of Latinos doing well and a whole bunch of "White Gangs" that would be circulating around. It would be the Latinos that wouldn't want to their children associating with "White Trash."

In fact, there are pockets of society where poverty does affect Caucasians though they're not called gangs. They're called "rednecks" or "hicks," which is considered an insulting term to them just as well.

For example, I'm Filipino and a derogatory term for us would be a "Flip" or making fun of how our third world country is known for its mail order brides. It's not exactly flattering, but technically it's true about the Filpino wives you can acquire if you're an established male here in the United States willing to provide citizenship.

However, by the same token, it could've gone the other way if hte Philippines was a Super Power and women from the United States were trying to get into the Philippines. You'd have white mail order brides hooking up with Filipino Males.

A lot of prejudice that is floating around is really based off of a lack of understanding or misunderstanding of the social and economic pressures from various regions that create these problems.

One of the reasons why Caucasians tend to dislike Latinos are because Latinos are willing to work for less so it offsets the pay scale. Why pay a lot of money for expensive Causasian Employees when you can hire Latinos.

You'll also see a lot of "Mexican Gangs" floating around because those Latino children don't have the financial means to afford to go to college and compete with regular high paying jobs. Because they're raised in a poverty stricken area, you'll tend to find a rougher crowd with all the drugs, loose morals, and bad behavior.

Take any person and put them in desperate situations where they barely have enough money to survive, and ethics goes out the window.

Because it's a tough neighborhood with distrust and animosity, groups will form in order to protect each other because there's strength in numbers. When you live in a dangerous neighborhood, you want security by having allies.

You don't see White Gangs because they really don't have much to worry about because they're protected by a Social Barrier that shields them such desperate times or such a lifestyle depending on whatever region of the United States you're referring to.

It's really unfortunate the amount of hatred and distrust that surfaces during trying times. You end up with children that grow up to be adults that form negative opinions of others that were born into bad situations and that bad stigma is hard to wipe off.

A lot of Latinos have the cards stacked against them when they're born into the world.

Hell, look at the way they behave here on the forums with the constant impersonations and BS questions with posted pornographic links. It's just pure stupidity and lack of IQ. If they were intelligent, they would be able to debate without doing that. If they were intelligent, they wouldn't keep having kids that they are unable to support.
