Does anybody have a recipe for cooking a whole fish in a dishwasher? Including which setting to use and how long to "wash" it for.

Went to a Party last year where they had cooked two large Salmon in the dishwasher, and they were beautiful.

Several tricks to it:
Give the dishwashers good scrub and rinse first, then a wash without any agents in.

Wrap the fish well in foil with all the seasonings you require, Salt, pepper, Lemon etc.

Cycle for at least 30 minutes, then serve with some nice fresh salad, a few bottles of white wine, and lots of friends.

Tastes great, how else do you cook two whole salmon.

Wrap in foil with sliced lemons and some herbs.
Add to dishwashers top rack when it comes to the DRY CYCLE.
Cycle is over in 20-30 minutes and fish is done.
Do not add at start

Set it on a dish with seasoning. Then fill up the powder box with salt. A medium wash should do it, for half an hour. Remove from diswasher, rinse off soap suds, then serve with a little bit of grated 'Finish'.

yes 40 mins on main wash and voila steamed fish! Some lemonade left overs in a tumbler will give the fish a good flavour.

Don't think it would work in a dishwasher...maybe in a dryer, wrapped in foil, or plastic wrap, with a butter glaze....but I'm not certain if the Dishwasher would deliver enough heat for the process...plus, risk of salmonella posioning if done wrong....

I recommend no. inspite of in case you probably did you may want to have cleansing soap suds on your egg and that i presume a cracked egg. The dishwasher doesn't be able to provide adequate warmth to practice dinner the egg. For water to boil it has to attain one hundred stages celcius so thats even as and egg will boil over. A dishwashers water warmth doesn't be boiling or perhaps 70 stages celcius. because in the different case even as your dishes got here out you may want to ought to attend a minimum of one/2-hour formerly they cooled down formerly putting them away.

Have you considered wrapping a chicken in foil, shoving it in the engine of your car and driving to the country side? or booking into a hotel room and placing some kippers in the trouser press over night, when you wake up a hearty breakfast will await you.
