Im scared and I need someone to tell me a really good scripture from the BIBLE to comfort me. Anyone that is ignorant, uses profane, obscene, vulgar, absurd or sexually explicit language will be reported!
If you know of the scriptures that are of comfort, please share them with me. I don't know where in the bible to read about comfort and gaining that warm, squishy soft feeling to feel and know that I will be ok and I cannot find my Bible and it's late so i can't wake my baby to search the room that I think it's in, so please help me.

there's so much - "I will never leave you or forsake you," you will never be put through anything you can't handle, and the Master saying I will always be with you through the end of time.
you got great answers from people suggesting the Psalms - check them out tomorrow when you can. you'll discover that many of the Psalms are David feeling the same way you probably do, and asking the same questions, and getting the answers. Check out 8 to get a general sense of what's going on, also check 14, 22, 23, 65 and 72, as well as the others people have suggested. (Best - check out them all - even just a few a day read in order, will greatly help).
Also a really nice read is the Book of James.
But probably the best prayer from the scripture was the advice given by the Master Yeshua Messiah, Jesus, himself: say the Our Father prayer. But go slowly, pausing and thinking about each line. Connect with the source in the manner the source prescribed. in faith, comfort, guidance, love.

First of all, loosen up a bit and don't take any notice of obscene remarks. The people who use them are as confused as any of us are! They are annoying but YOU don't need to waste time on them, leave that to someone else.
I like the words of the hymn "Abide with Me" or "The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want, etc " Talk to someone about how you feel. As Shakespeare said "Give sorrow words, The grief that does not speak , whispers the over-fraught heart, and bids it break". The one thing you need to know is that you are a good person (no matter what you might have done during your life) and
loved by God, so you can sleep easy and know that God is watching over you and sending down blessings upon you as you sleep. I send good vibes for your continued self-acceptance and peace.

Romans 8:28 All things work together for the good of them that love the Lord and come together according to His purpose.
Psalm 149:4-5 For the Lord takes delight in His people; He crowns the humble with salvation. Let the saints rejoice in this honor and sing for joy in their beds.
Mathew 6:34 Do not worry for tomorrow for tomorrow has enough trouble of its own.
John 14:27 Jesus said, Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and afraid.
Isaiah 40:31 They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles.
My prayer is that this could help you!

I'm 100% sure you'll find what you need.

Isaiah 41:8-20, "but you, my servant whom I have chosen, I took you from the ends of the earth, from its farthes corners I called you. I said, 'you are my servant'; I have chosen you and have not rejected you, so do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dissmayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.all who rage against you will surely be ashamed and disgraced;those wo oppose you will be nothing and perish.though you search for your enemies you will not find them. those who wage war against you will be as nothing at all.for I am the Lord, your God, who takes hold of your right handand sais to you, 'Do not fear; I will help you. Do not be afraid, for I myself will help you,' declares the Lord, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel. 'See, I will make make you into a threshing sledge, new and sharp, with many teeth, you will thresh the mountains and crush them, and reduce the hills t chaff.you will winnow them, the wind will pich them up, and a gale will blow them away. but you will rejoice in the Lord and glory in the Holy One of Israel.'" i had to take a couple words out to match it with modern day. otherwise it would be talking abot Israel. i hope this comforts you. God is ever loving and wants the best for you.

You will have comfort not for jsut a moment, but you have the Comforter for ever:
14:16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; 14:17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
(King James Bible, John)
Be in peace.

DANGIT, 006, I was just about to post that. Now what am I supposed to do?
Oh well, I'll go with the very next verse...
11 When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I gave up childish ways.
Anyone who's seen the movie Hackers has heard that verse.

Blessed be God, my mountain, who trains me to fight fair and well.
He's the bedrock on which I stand,
the castle in which I live,
my rescuing knight,
The high crag where I run for dear life,
while he lays my enemies low.

4Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice. 5Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; 6do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Matthew 11:28-30
"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."
